With summer here we will be playing with a lot of bubbles. I also wanted bubbles that would last and last. So through google I found THIS web site and this is my interpretation of the instructions:
Supplies:

- Glycerin ( found in my pharmacy section of the grocery store)
- Generic KY personal lubricant
- Dawn detergent ( I could only find the ultra concentrate. regular is optimal)
- Distilled water
- CLEAN gallon jug.

Step 1
Measure 2 cups of the distilled water and microwave it for 1 minute to warm it up. Pour into the clean gallon jug.

Step 2
Squeeze 2 oz of the personal lubricant into the water. Gently swirl the water around to dilute the lubricant.

Step 3
Pour 2 oz. of the glycerin into the jug. Swirl to combine.

Step 4
Pour 12 oz. of the Dawn into jug. Swirl oh so gently. Do your best not to get foam.

Step 5
Pour out enough of your distilled water so the bubble solution will be able to fit back in. BUT WAIT!! Don’t pour it back in till tomorrow. Your bubble solution needs to rest over night. Once it has rested over night you are able to pour it back into the distilled water bottle. Now keep the cap on tight and swirl gently to combine.
I will get you some bubble pictures in the next day or two. Enjoy!!!

My mom has a recipe for glass cleaner that is awesome! Gets windows and glass clean as a whistle and is very penny pinching friendly. Remember THIS post? This project is what I was referring when I had mentioned the bottles on the left.
Mom’s Glass Cleaner
- 1 part Amonia
- 1 part rubbing alcohol
- 1 part distilled water
Combine in a recycled spray bottle and use crumpled up newspapers for best results.
*I think the reason it calls for distilled water is if your tap water has minerals in it they may show up on your glass as a deposit. Distilled water is mineral free. It is also great to use in your iron. It keeps the steam pours from getting clogged with mineral deposits.

We spent the Easter holiday with some good friends and we stayed in Rehoboth Beach, De. For those of you who know Rehoboth you know that there are AWESOME outlets for your penny pinching needs. But a good penny pincher knows that not all outlets are true outlets. Back ‘in the day’ an outlet was just that. A place where manufactures could send over stock or slightly damaged goods for the public to get at a bargain. But over the years a few (or more than a few) retailers have plopped regular stores in outlets. So imagine my delight when I found that the brand spankin’ new Crocs outlet was in deed an outlet!!
My first find was the orange crocs for $2.99. As far as I can tell nothing is wrong with them! I also picked up the orange and purple flips for my daughter for $4.99. I went home and sang the praises of the Crocs outlet to my friends and on our way out of town the 3 families hit the store one more time!

My DD got these Alice Crocs for $4.99

My Dh got these off road Crocs for $14.99. (He was the big spender of the group!)

I picked up these purple ones with no holes in them to do garden work. Can’t beat that price!!
HERE is the link to the outlets. Leave some for me for when we go back at the end of the moth!

Count them…..15 reams of paper and 1p-touch. Here is how I did it. Let’s start with the paper.

This is the paper. It is the 50% recycled Staples brand paper. Take note of the item #554638…. this is very important. At my Staples it was 6.99 a ream. I did have to ask a friendly clerk where to find them (BACK of the store but hey, they were there) I bought 15 of them.
- 15 reams of paper $104.85
- I had a coupon that came in the mail for $20/$100 purchase.
- 6% Pa tax $5.10
- total of $89.95… and a rebate printed out for $5.99 PER ream!!! (rebate #09-77261) good until MAY!!!! with NO LIMIT!!!!!
THEN I came home and hit the web and submitted my rebate. I will be getting back….drum roll…$89.85. 15 reams of paper for .10!!! How many will YOU be picking up?

Now for the P-Touch. I have been wanting one FOREVER… But I did not want to shell out $50+ bucks for one. My husband asks me yesterday how much I wanted a P-touch. I tell him $15 worth…thinking he has found one used on Craigs List. But Oh no! He has found one at Staples for $20! YIPPIE!!!
It is a $50 product with a $30 instant rebate. HERE is the link at Staples. I am not sure how long this deal will last. I did pinch a few gas pennies and talked with a staples rep online before I went to my local Staples to see that they had one in stock. Yeah on line help!

In case you were wondering. After rebate, I paid $20.10 plus tax for this stack. Normally It would be well over $160. Yeah Pinching Pennies!

At Jos. A. Bank, buy one suit at its regular price and get two more for free via coupon code “PFD93″. With free shipping, that’s the best suit deal we’ve seen from Jos. A. Bank this year. Note that all three suits must cost the same, and the discount only applies to their regular prices (which are at least double the listed sale prices). Deal ends March 31.

If you recall I got a fabulous deal on cilantro earlier this week at Weis. Check out the post HERE.
So I brought it home and set to preserving my treasures. First thing I did was wash the cilantro. Cilantro is grown in sandy soil. Often there is all sorts of grit hidden in it. Nothing is worse than crunching down on a few granolas of sand. ICK!

Then I plucked al the leaves off the stems. You could just twist off the excess stems.

I put the leaves in the food processor and pulse till your desired consistency.

This is the consistency I did mine too.

Then I filled ice cube trays with the pulsed cilantro and topped them with water. There is a generous tablespoon in each cube tray. Now I have chopped, portioned cilantro ready to go at a moments notice! And it was bought at a penny pinching price. :)

Here is the cilantro cubes out of the ice cube trays.

And here I vacuum sealed 6-8 in each packet. See my raves about vacuum sealing HERE.
