How I got 100 gas point for spending $2.64

I was at Giant this morning picking up a few thing for lunches and stuff for diner tonight. I checked out in the u-scan line and out popped the 2 store coupons pictured above. Cool! just purchase the 2 items listed on the 2 coupons and presto! Get 100 gas reward points. That translates to an easy $.10 off a gallon. I read and reread the coupons looking for a dollar amount or a specific brand but none could be found.

So I wheeled my cart back into the store and picked up Dawn dishwashing detergent. It was $1.49 in my store. I did find a coupon ($.50/1 Dawn, any (Excludes trial/travel size) (Limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip) – 08-26-12 PG) but I didn’t have it with me at the time. It wasn’t worth my while to go home, grab it and come back to the store. I am not a coupon binder carrying person but if I were I would have had it and been prepared.  I also picked up the Giant brand paper towels on sale for $1. The paper towels will go to my kids school and I can use the dawn when I make bathroom cleaner or I am stripping cloth diapers.

Here is the receipt after I bought the paper towels and the dawn.  You DO need to SCAN THE COUPONS. It is not an automatic thing that is connected to your bonus card.

It cost me $2.64 with tax and I was rewarded with 100 gas points! I love this.  I have no idea if these are printing out for everyone but I hope they are. Good luck and this is how I pinched pennies and got 100 gas rewards points.
