My ‘love affair’ with Zamzee continues.
My children are among the oodles of children who get excited about a toy and them days later they have forgotten about it. They get excited about something from a commercial, we make them wait till Christmas or a birthday to get said toy. The receive the toy with much joy and anticipation and then in no time they have lost interest in the toy they had so long for.
But not with the Zamzee.
Each day they hop out of bed and want me to plug it in to the computer to see how many points they have earned. They want to see if they met the challenge they signed up for. They want to WHAMZ their points. But they really want to change their look of their avatar! Change hair, clothes, sunglasses, you name it they want to change it.
I love that the Zamzee measures the intensity of the kids activity, not jus the steps they take. Zamzee gives them goals to try to meet and has the look and feel of a video game. The avatar is something the kids can change and as a parent I love that their sweet little faces are not part of the avatar.
