I am going to try and start a new blog series.
Pins I have pined on Pinterest and why.
If you have not found Pinterest by now you need to go sign up! It is a virtual pin board that you can pin your likes, interest, ideas, must do, want to do or basically anything you want! I love it because this takes the place of bookmarking for me. Instead of hundreds of bookmarks put into different folders, all of with I couldn’t see what the site was until I clicked, I can SEE the item specific to the link. AWESOME!! But be aware it is addictive.
The following pins are from the board I have titled: For The Home. This board I have in mind for things for my home or something that I could see in another persons home.
I loved this one for so many reasons. I could select where we met, where we went to college, our first home, where we ended up… There are so many possibilities! I think this one would be great for military or missionary families. Grab those maps and atlases that you have stuffed in your glove compartment and make a personalized give that no one will have hanging on their wall.
You may or may not know that I do a bit of canning. I thought this was a clever way of using caning jars in another purpose than they were orrigianlly intended. Even if you do have the canning bug this is a fun way to recycle or repurpose your grandmothers jars. I just wish I had the right spot for this…..now that I think about it that light in my kitchen needs to be redone…..hmmmm projects!
I love this one!! I just don’t think there is enough space above our garage doors for this to work. At least not for bins this large. But perhaps in your garage there will be!

There are pins and then there are pins that I actually complete. This is one of them. You can check out my Fox 43 spot on how I brought this pin to life.
I hope these pins have put a bee in your creative bonnet.
and lets share some pins!
