Making Bubbles

With summer here we will be playing with a lot of bubbles.  I also wanted bubbles that would last and last.  So through google I found THIS web site and this is my interpretation of the instructions:

Supplies:

1-copy

  1. Glycerin ( found in my pharmacy section of the grocery store)
  2. Generic KY personal lubricant
  3. Dawn detergent ( I could only find the ultra concentrate.  regular is optimal)
  4. Distilled water
  5. CLEAN gallon jug.

Step 1

Measure 2 cups of the distilled water and microwave it for 1 minute to warm it up. Pour into the clean gallon jug.

3

Step 2

Squeeze 2 oz of the personal lubricant into the water.  Gently swirl the water around to dilute the lubricant.

4

Step 3

Pour 2 oz. of the glycerin into the jug.  Swirl to combine.

Step 4

Pour 12 oz. of the Dawn into jug.  Swirl oh so gently.  Do your best not to get foam.

Step 5

Pour out enough of your distilled water so the bubble solution will be able to fit back in.  BUT WAIT!!  Don’t pour it back in till tomorrow.  Your bubble solution needs to rest over night.  Once it has rested over night you are able to pour it back into the distilled water bottle.  Now keep the cap on tight and swirl gently to combine.

I will get you some bubble pictures in the next day or two.  Enjoy!!!
