I took advantage of the Grandparents visiting today and went to Giant on my own with out the girls. Those of you who have young children know what a treat it is to go by yourself.
Here is how I did this trip:
- Wheat Thins
- on sale 2/$4
- 2 coupons for $1 off 2
- $1.50 per box
- Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- On sale 10/$10
- there was specification you must 10 so I bought 6 (I have put 5 in the freezer)
- $1 each
- Nature Valley Bars
- $2.95 per box
- Buy 4 nature valley and or General Mills products get $4 credit on your bill
- used (3) .50 off coupons
- $1.57 per box
- Swansons broth
- I can’t remember what they were… I just know I had a $1 off 2 catalina coupon that was about to expire.
- Dole Salads
- on sale 2/$5
- (2) $1 off pelies found on the product
- $1.50 each
- Ken’s salad dressings
- on sale 10/$10
- I had 8 coupons for $1 off Ken’s salad dressing.
- FREE**
**note that the clerk had to over ride the coupon. The computer beeped indicating something was wrong. The problem was the picture on the coupon did not match the item I wanted to purchase. BUT the first 5 digits of the coupon and the item matched and the store will be reimbursed by the company. I was told this was something they do not do all the time and it was a one time thing.

As you can see my total before coupons was $64.26
Savings was $40.60
Total Out of pocket $23.66
Be sure to click the buttons on the right to download coupons for yourself.
